Miriam Meckel, professor of corporate communications at the Institute for Media and Communications Management at the University of St. Gallen, will be the 4th speaker in our Young Leaders Lecture series and talk about modern individuals being caught in the “communication trap”.

The 14th European Forum focused on the topic of “Fit for the Future? –Europe’s Economy in a Changing World”. In a constantly changing world, Europe is increasingly coming under pressure. Are we ready for the future in the core sectors of energy, industry and finance, and which fields offer opportunities for future development?

The presidential election 2008 has been remarkable in many respects. That is why the German Association of American Studies, the Atlantic Academy of Rhineland Palatinate and the BMW Foundation decided to call a conference in Berlin on November 21 and 22, 2008, to analyze the results of the election and provide a forum for discussion for experts of American politics and decision makers in German politics.

On November 25th, 2008 Euclid network was holding a conference with Filippo Addarii, Alumnus of the 1st Europaen Young Leaders Forum, titled "Good third sector governance across Europe". This conference identified and supported principles and objectives of good third sector governance across Europe.
